Hi

I have gone thru the troubleshooting guides. Tried resetting the box etc but I do not get the normal lights showing - just the power light.

I need this resynching please. I have no phone signal at all so messaging will not get to me.

Serial number is 21196952341

Good Afternoon

My speed test results are: -

Ping:          28ms

Download: 6.61Mbps

Upload:      0.35Mbps

I have attached a photo of the Sure Signal with reference to light sequence.

Update.

Still does not work and the suresignal boxes are sending packets to external ip addresses that are NOT in the published ip ranges. ie.

      212.183.133.177

  • 212.183.133.178
  • 212.183.133.179
  • 212.183.133.181
  • 212.183.133.182
  • 212.183.131.128/26

Instead I am seeing packets sent by the suresignal box on UDP port 500 to 88.82.13.175 and 88.82.13.172

Have the Vodafone IP addresses been changed?

I see nothing coming back. Been without a phone signal for a month now.

I have now been told that if I take the new SureSignal box to a store (20 miles away, round trip) then they will accept it back this time. We will see.

can my box be resynched too please  serial number 40111102766

I have had mine  for years. Its version1 and we are Corporate customers. Have had a very intermeittent signal for about 3 months now which has got worse. Very difficult when you are on call and have no phone signal. Also our phone shows a full signal a lot of the time but we get a message from vodafone saying we have missed calsl. It goes from what appears to be a full signal to no service. Box lights are correct one minute then both flashing the next.

Hi guys,

@WellerPackaging - The Vodafone Sure Signal is trying to connect but failing to authenticate, this could be due to your Firewall.

We’re not able to tell you to turn this off but this could be causing the issue.

You could also look at de registering the Sure Signal leaving this for 6 hours then trying to register.

Failing this please try the Sure Signal in a different location.

@solvetech – If there is anything we can help you with, let us know.

I am not actually a new user. I have been a user for years but the forum wouldnt let me in on my old password and it also wouldnt let me reset it. I was forced into making a new account. As a business we also have another employee with a V1 which is having the same problems in a fairly similiar area. An additional user has one of the new ones which has to be reset every hour or so. Our vodafone signal in general has been appalling for a number of months now. Last time my box was resynched and it this did sort the issue.

One of the times it was the SAC Code. I remember that.

Hi,

Per Gemmas post (firmware was to be updated), I have waited and waited, and regularly turned my phone off and on, and reset the Sure Signal just for good measure, but I'm still stuck in the same place with the power light showing and with traceroute timing out.  Any other ideas?

Thanks,

Alison

Hi everyone,

@lorrainew – Looking at your internet speed and the amount of users you’ve got attached to it, this’ll be having an impact on the signal and call connection quality.

Sure Signal number 40111102766 is showing the old firmware version.

I’ve requested this to be updated, please leave it for at least 24 hours (and don’t reset it during this time).

@Alison – Your firmware has updated to the latest version.

I can see your Sure Signal, made connection with the network at 3.19am yesterday.

Is everything now ok?

Thanks,

Gemma

I hear what your saying Gemma however we managed for years on 1mg and now have 5 so this isn't the issue. We do have a lfew numbers attached to the device but only 1 or 2 in use at any one time. You advertise that you can have 32 numbers added from memory and 4 at any one time connected to the device. Absolutely nothing has changed my end apart from a better signal
