Suresignal problem

My suresignal has completely stopped working. I can't even get the red power light to come on. I've done all the reset stuff and powered down the BT router. It's been a bit funny for a couple of days with the lights flashing ffor searching which is unusual. Any ideas on how to proceed ?

Hi @kitacrone

Can you take a look at our Sure Signal Troubleshooting thread, and then post back your results if you’re not directed to an existing thread?

Thanks

Andy

Thanks for your suggestions. I've looked but can't find any mention of not being able to activate the red power light. I did get a bt email a few days ago saying that our exchange had been upgraded and our broadband should improve whereas it's been worse.

@kitacrone

You’d need to type ‘tracert 212.183.133.177’.

Please copy and paste the results here when you’ve done it.

It steadfastly refuses to copy and paste so I've in the end taken a pic with my phone, reduced to file size and attached. I hope you can read it.

@kitacrone - Everything you’ve posted looks fine.

Please try using another power outlet and test if the power light comes on.

If it’s still not powering on after trying this, it sounds like it may be faulty. It’ll be out of warranty now, but you can buy a new Sure Signal online or from your local Vodafone store.

Hi kitacrone,

Judging by your serial number I think you have V2 Sure Signal.

If that is the case, try changing your power supply.

If you require one they are available on Amazon or Ebay and cost around £10 -12 including delivery.

Regards,

Mike.
