I too ordered on the morning of the release, no update, no confirmation email, people are walking out shops with them everyday. This is the worst service i have ever came across and no updates on the forum since the 16th

The £5 per week... the might as well just take swings at us all... complete JOKE.
They ought to be making refunds of the handset cost in my opinion.
I've never know customer service like it. These big companies are all to complaicant... Judging by the current climate, and business' going into admin left, right & centre, it might not be too long until Vodafone are rueing the day they screwed loyal customers over!!
If I find out that its easy enought to cancel, my business is going to EE or o2.

I'm hoping i'm posting this in the right place and I'm hoping someone might actually be able to help me!!
I've been having on-going problems with Vodfaone for nearly 5 weeks now!
The problem is quite lengthy so i'll try cut straight to the point-
I have always been a Vodafone customer and recently upgraded early to the Iphone 6. When i first got the phone the SIM wouldn't register and it took Vodafone 5 days to establish there was a problem and sort it out (hence i was without service whatsoever for 5 full days).
The SIM then worked fine for around 8 days until one day it suddenly lost signal. after so many phone calls, vists to the shop, speaking with the oneline chat and i think 7 SIM swaps in about 5 days, it was confirmed Vodafone couldn't provide me with a working SIM card due to an error on their account. it was confirmed this error couldn't be fixed and they couldn't provide me with any service. Vodafone allowed me to send the Iphone 6 back and confirmed they would put me back on my old tarriff, however, they still can't provide me with any service on my old tarrif as your system won't allow a sim to be registered to my account (this has been confirmed it is an aeror at Vodafone, no one knows how to fix it and no one knows how long it will be take) i am now on my 4th week with no service despite Vodafone taking the money out of my account.
I've spoken to Vodafone who say they aren't prepared to do anything, they expect me to wait until the problem has been solved. however the only way I can't get any service so why should i have to pay?
to cancel the contract they want around £200.00 which i don't think i should be liable to pay.
Oh and i have also put my comments in writing and email to Vodafone in a complaint 2 weeks ago and haven't had so much as an acknolwedgment.
Can someone please shed some light on what i'm supposed to do? As i say, this is very much straight to the point!

I chased Vodafone on Thursday, and was blatantly lied to, i too ordered an Iphone 6+ 64gb space grey, kept receiving the emails but after reading the forums decided to call and see what they said.
I was told by a nice chap called Shaun that they were due a huge delivery of stock into their warehouse on Friday 24th which would cover most of the back log. Shaun proceeded to call the warehouse while i was on hold and came back and said stock would definitely be in on Friday and i would receive my phone no later than Tuesday this week.
I called at lunchtime and was told that i wouldnt receive my phone until between 6th and 13th November, i told them about the conversation i had with Shaun and they apologised.....it is blatant lying but Customer Service and find it incredible that a company as Vodafone would just lie to their customers.
