Since joining vodafone on 15 January 2018 I have been unable to register on line. Green ticks but message
We're working hard to fix the issue, so please try again later.: 494, FMW_30_0001 - [Error ref 1m1]
What is the problem, how am I supposed to know what the error code means?

I seen before where people have had issues with the Myvodafone App or myvodafone online option @David_Lonsdale
Performing tasks like clearing the browser of cache and data and cookies can help and or try another browser for the online version.
If this is for Vodafone Home Phone and Broadband then the dedicated team via Contact-us. can help.
In regards to phoned With the app then going into storage and again clearing cache and data can help if your phone allows that.and it delete it from the phone and your Play Store my apps section or if using an iphone clear it from your iTunes on a computer.
Customer Services on 191 or Live Chat can access your Account and check things at their end too.
