Hi I have an iPhone locked to Vodafone Germany. I’ve bought it back to the UK as my German office is now closed. How do I get this unlocked to repurpose it to me?

Hi @Sahra there is no way it can be unlocked by Vodafone UK, it can only be unlocked by the German network, the UK and German networks are separate companies linked only by a brand name.

You would need to complete the Unlocking form on the German Network and then once that’s done they will arrange unlock and Apple release it from their data base so it’ll accept any network. 

If for any reason that’s not feasible then your options as I see it are use a shop in the Highstreet that advertises they unlock iPhones. Don’t use online unlocking sites is my advice.

Or sell the iPhone and use the funds to buy one locked to Vodafone Uk or one that’s unlocked already.
