Upgrade eligibility date changed on My Vodafone app

I upgraded to a new bundle which stated that it will not change my upgrade date but it has added another 2 years onto my plan? just wondering if theres any possible way to get out of this. it said there was 15 days to switch back and i was on live chat twice before this had ended and they said they would fix this for me within 48 hours and it still hasnt been done just under a month later. can anyone help?

Hi @StephC76

 

A person has a 30 day Cooling Off period when they take out a new contract or upgrade. 

If a person upgrades their pay Monthly contract is basically reset to a new tariff and starts again for a new term which is typically 24 months. 

As you've already tried Live Chat I would suggest calling Customer Services on 191 on perhaps Monday to get some support for this situation.

If you were still in commitment and only changed the tariff without a new phone, your upgrade date should have remained the same.  

 

The best thing to do is to wait for a member of the Team to contact you.  They will be in position to find out exactly what has happened.

Hi Steph had same issue myself spoke to Vodafone live team.

Its a MyVodafone app error they checked my account and still  has my old upgrade  date on their systems not the one that is showing on MyVodafone.
