Hi,
Like a previous poster on this forum, I tonight changed my plan to one with extra data and It appears I have been put on a new 24 month contract - the app had told me there would be no change to my contract end date when I was reviewing the plan options.
I did not agree to a new contract nor was there any option to consent to this.
When I log onto the vodafone portal I have also been billed two months charges for this month - so my bill has doubled rather than increasing by only £6.
The vodafone advantage discount is also missing.
Please correct as soon as possible.

If you contact Customer Services, they will be able to look into your contract end date.
As far as your Advantage is concerned, when you change your contract in any way, the form will need to be resubmitted. There is further information on the link below.
When your contract is changed, to bring you in line with the new tariff, you will be billed pro rata, this means being charged part of a month, plus one full months line rental in advance. There should also be a credit on the bill for line rental paid in advance prior to the contract change. Your following months bill will be for the normal charges.

But I changed the plan just a couple of months ago. I was not billed for 2 months of full line rental. I did not lose the vodafone advantage discount. I did not start a new contract. There was no warning that any discount applied to the account would be removed and that I would have to pay to have the discount applied again (at a lower rate than I currently have) - I was informed that global roaming would be removed - that was the only thing I was told would be removed.
My bill also includes an extra £6 which is 2 times the difference of the old and the new plan.
There is no credit on the account.
Something has gone wrong on Vodafones systems.
