Upgrading Business Account..Stay or Leave

Hi,

I have 3 numbers on SIM only Vodafone Red and I am now in the upgrade period and I am trying to find out if the current package I am on is best/cheapest.

I have spoken to Live Chat, who cannot help because it's a business account, popped into my local Vodafone store, which was pointless, as I know more about vodafone than them.

So tried calling 0808 060 0802 which is the number I was given by the Live Chat person for business users, closed today...ok, it's New Years day, but life goes on !,,

I seem to never get anyone within Vodafone that knows the ins and outs of what is on offer at vodafone for their customers.

I am aware of the Vodafone Advantage Scheme, this has never been mentioned once.  I own my company, so why can't I register and get the discount ? How do they know my company is not already registered and I am a employee and have not got a clue about the Advantage Scheme !!

Account reviews are long gone with Vodafone, I used to be able to talk to Vodafone and they would look at every option on the planet for me, just does not happen anymore.

Not even a " let's look at your account because you may not need all the data you have and we could put you on a cheaper tarriff"

I'm also finding it very difficult to ignore the adverts and emails that I get from BT, EE, Sky Mobile etc, who are offering some REALLY good deals, ok, I do know you get what you pay for etc etc

I have been with Vodafone  for over 20 years and the network and coverage is excellent, especially  when I go on holiday and I get connected to a really good network and never have any issues.

I'm going to call tomorrow  and ask for my PAC codes, whether I use them or not remains to be seen.

Hi @152bobby

Its my understanding that due to the complexity of business accounts its all directed to your Account manager via Customer Services.

I agree getting the best deal is important.

However another Network may entice you with deals but these are no good if it does not come hand in hand with good signal and data speeds where you live work and commute.

Not all networks supply the same everywhere.

Asking for a Pac can sometimes kick a why are you leaving us question and or follow up call but on the flip side some have been given a Pac and left up to them whether they use it or not.

The Social Media Team here can help with Business Accounts by contacting you privately and they'll send all the info to the right department for you. Just be clear in your reply to them that your Account is a business one.

Hi @152bobby

The Advantage discount does not apply to business accounts.  You can read more about the tariffs eligible for Advantage discount on the link below.   The company you work for also needs to be participing in the scheme to offer the discount to employees as a company benefit.

Which discounts and plans are included in the Vodafone Advantage scheme?

With the forum not being a sales channel or being able to access business account, for quickness this is going to mean contacting the Business Team direct.  With you being a long term customer, they should do everything possible to offer you a new contract suitable for your needs.
