This thread has been created to discuss and troubleshoot the version 3 Sure Signal when the light sequence is as follows:
Cause
This light sequence indicates the Sure Signal's not active and it has been unable to authenticate on the Vodafone network
Troubleshooting
Please restart your Sure Signal. If the symptoms continue please add the following details to this thread:
Traceroute command:
On a PC:
On a Mac:
This will help us get the quickest possible resolution for you.

I have a Sure SIgnal running on our corporate network but it can't\won't connct.
the following has been opened on the firewall:

Hi IanDaviesGMGB,
Thanks for the information you’ve provided, I can see that you had a resync of your device on 8/5/13.
Despite this, it’s still not showing as having connected to our servers since 1/5/13 at 09:25.
I’ve taken another look at your first post and the failure of the ping test does give an indication of a possible cause.
The test failure suggests that there is something preventing the Sure Signal from getting an internet connection.
I can see that you’ve opened certain ports on the firewall but the ping failure shows that there’s still an issue.
Do you have access to the firewall logs to see if they shed any light as to what’s been blocked?

pingtest.net won't work because port 8080 is blocked globally across the network.

these IP addresses didn't appear in he document I was given some weeks ago, is this one of the sure signal IP addresses?

Hi, i'm still having problems with mine. i've reset and still no joy. are there any checks you can do from your end to see if the correct ports are open?
