Vodafone Galaxy S5 MMS issue from one particular person

Hi,

I have an issue with receiving mms messages from my girlfriend, she has a iPhone. She can send MMSs to other people fine.

I can receive MMS's from anyone else including other iPhone users they just do not work from her.

When I get a MMS I get a download button but if you click that it fails.

Any ideas?

Have you ever owned / used an iPhone before as you may need to de register it via https://selfsolve.apple.com/deregister-imessage

Ask her when she attempts to send a MMS to you does her text bubble come up as green.

Can you receive normal texts from her ?

Ensure her number is not added to any blocking feature in your phone.

Thanks for the quick reply, Yes I did have one probably 4 years ago! I have tried that to de-register and when putting the code in it says

"Your phone number is not registered with iMessage."

I have another iPhone which I can use to send MMS's to my Galaxy fine as well.

Normal texts work fine from her.

Ask her to turn off iMessage in her phones settings under Settings,Message, iMessage and then try to send a message that includes something like an emoticon to convert it to a MMS message.

Certainly a conundrum.

Is your girlfriend also on Vodafone ?

She should check with her own Network if not and check that she or you have not added your contacts twice in your phones as this can cause issues too.
