I signed up for Vodafone Broadband on the 19th of December and the switch took place on the 5th of January.
Based on the minimum speed given to me online I signed up to the 76mb speed expecting 42mb
After waiting 12 days for the speed to settle down I am now told my minimum speed is 35mb.
I have spoken to the support & the care team requesting they allow me to downgrade my package to the 38mb and this has been refused.
I am just happy I took a screenshot of the website information when I signed up.
I am about to sign up to another provider as I will get a better deal on the lower speeds that my line is capable of providing within the initial 30-day period.
Needless to say, as a long-term Vodafone customer I am very disappointed with the way this has been handled and will be reporting the speed inaccuracy to the ombudsman.

Thats ridiculous that your paying for an unattainable speed.
Im sure ive seen past posts where others have been successul in acquiring what your wanting to do.
My advice is to fill out the Complaints form Here.
And the Vodafone Social Media Team here who read all posts maybe able to help too.
Someone hopefully will see sense !!
Id also suggest to carefully look over the Terms and Conditions found Here.

This is worrying, as they have suggested your line will support a minimum value and its well under that.
My main interest is gaining on upload speed, but if the service is so much slower on download speed it probably isnt worth the jump for me.
Not only that, its clear to me that if you cant achieve more than 38Mb you shouldn't be paying the 76Mb price (unless it was cheaper or fixed asap).
