Hi,
I have a Smart Ultra 6 which will not connect to the bluetooth in my car - Land Rover Freelander. The car does see the phone and initially connects but as it synchronises it loses connectivity and never gets past it.
I have tried an iphone 6 and it works fine. I also tried an old HTC one Mini and it worked although at the stage that the smart ultra 6 fails, there is a pop up on the one mini saying - 'My Car wants access to your contacts and call history. Give access to My Car?'
If yes the phone connects.
So therefore it looks like the Smart Ultra 6 doesnt have the option to share contacts and hence the pairing fails. Is there a way to change this setting?
The Smart Ultra is Android 5.1.1 and the One Mini is running 4.4.2

@neil1700 - Please check on the connectivity guide for your vehicle as issues like this are mostly vehicle related and not handset related.
