Hello All

I have a problem with Sure Signal v3 its been boxed and un-used last 2 years but phoned Vodafone to have the de-registered staus lifted and within the control panel it now shows as "Active".

The device seems to think otherwise however.

Have tried the device in work and now at home:

Work connected to coporate network and device just flashed the red light
Work connected to backup ADSL router directly and just flashed red light with occasionally the user light going to amber.

Replaced all network cables for new cables.

At home used cables tried and tested at home on the Sure Signal and used the ones from work as well with some differences in what happens on SS

Im now getting a Red Flashing Light and amber light on the Service and User light. Have reset the device twice, have reset the Virgin Media router and the switch that SS is plugged into.

Now at a loss as to what need to do next having read the forums and tried some of all the bits on the forum over to vodafone with the following info.

Thanks for getting in touch regarding your Sure Signal.

We've checked the serial number and can see that the Sure Signal was first registered on 11/02/13 and hasn't connected the network since 31/05/13.

As the Sure Signal hasn't connected for over 2 years, it’s now unusable. Unfortunately as it's no longer in warranty a new Sure Signal will need to be purchased. If you're a corporate customer, it may be worth speaking to your procurement team, or company’s main contact with Vodafone as they might be able to order one for you.
