Vodafone Ultra 6 - Text keypad

Can anyone please tell me if it is possible to change the key pad on the ultra 6 to a 12-key phone pad style.  I dont seem to be able to work out how to change it and can't find it as an option in the settings.

Hi, in the latest versions of android this isn't always possible with stock settings. There may be options to add apps from the playstore that allow this.

You may be able to change this from the settings as follows;

 

  • Press and hold the message field until a pop-up menu is displayed.
  • Press Input method.
  • Press TouchPal Input or Android keyboard.
  • Select TouchPal Input:
  • Press the settings icon (a gear wheel).
  • Press Settings....
  • Press Keyboard layout.
  • Press Layout in portrait mode.
  • Press Full QWERTY, 12-Key PhonePad orCooTek T+.

As @63johnw mentioned, this isn't always an option on all phones, therefore, it may be that you will need to visit the Play Store to find an app which allows you to change the keyboard style.
