My wife is now using my old phone, as I have upgraded. She is with EE.
I want to remove Vodafone rapps as they are not relevant anymore.
I cant remove teh Vodafone Updates App.
Is ther a reason for this, please?

Hi,
You won't be able to delete any Vodafone Apps that were baked in as part of what was on it from Day 1. This because it's a Branded phone if supplied by Vodafone. They add their own stuff onto it.
The Myvodafone app should be able to be removed by long pressing on the app and choose delete or similar or from within the phones settings.

Is the |Updates App burnt into the phone

That maybe connected to updating your normal Apps.
The Vodafone related Apps or as some like to call bloatware cannot be removed unless a custom rom is downloaded onto it , however this should only be carried out by a person with adequate working knowledge of rooting / installing custom firmware.
