Hello.
I have a Samsung Galaxy S4 which also comes with the Vodafone Updates built in.
However, almost 2-3 times every day when using a certain app, I get an error message that says 'Unfortunately Vodafone Updates has stopped'.
Do you know if there is a fix for this as the last thing I want to do is uninstall the Updates app.
Many thanks,
Christopher

This is a strange one and i hope the Eforum team will take another look at this
Thanks for the screen shots
@James it seems to be a reject at the server end
It happens on both WiFi and 3G
as for the App for now until Jame or one of the Team looks at this would be to dissable the app as it will drive you nuts

I just wonder whether the phone is trying to update an app that's no longer supported. A sort of 404 error.

Possible but as this phone is new i dout that Vf would do that
More like its the company that looks after this has messed up some how
but some one at VF needs to pull there finger out and get this sorted instead of hoping it will go away it affects two devices possible three not herd anything from the Note two crew
But it effects the Three as well
But as dissabling this sorts out the problem most will not be bothered
But Vodafone wonder why no one uses there apps if this is what happens

Absolutely agree with you, ndj. It's caleld Vodafone Updates, so they've put their branding on it and it's up to them to fix it, even if that means a firm boot up someone else!

I've got a unbranded Vodafone S4,
I get a little Vodafone symbol appear in the top left of the screen every now and then. When I pull down the nofication bar I get a meesage saying something like the "Vodafone updates (0MB) has failed to install".
I'm guessing it has something to do with the My Vodafone App I've got installed. I just hit clear

The problem the Eforum Team has here is these apps are made by a Third party company for Vodafone
I hope they will pass these problems on
I have delt with a simular company before and they were glad of the feed back this was on the Original Galaxy S
so contacting them internally could be tricky but thats up to Vodafone to sort out
We have on here offered before to test there Apps before, But as with most it fall on deaf ears at some point
Vodafone needs to engage with its users on apps
On most apps you have a email to send ideas to developers
But as with Most this Vodafone they don't like negative criticisms
