I ordered my iPhone6 when overseas and upgraded as on the website. Due for delivery on 19th. When received and opened, It did not work and after 1 hour using Live Chat I was told to go to a shop to sort it. I rang Vodafone (who record all calls for the training purposes so it can be verified) and was told the phone had been ordered as a new one and not an upgrade (lie 1) but admitted it was actually their fault when i pointed out how I ordered it. I was told it woudl need to be returned and a replacment sent out within 10 working days as there was no way the SIM and number details from my iPhone 5 could be transferred (lie 2)
I called the cancellation team and asked for my PAC code to go to EE. The man on the phone convinced me to stay and said he would get the numbers transferred in 20 minutes (lie 3) Two hours later I rang again and was promised it woudl be done as they always switch over at midnight (lie 4) and of courdse that did not occur.
I am currently overseas and cant use my iPhone 6 and have spent all afternoon trying to use Live Chat which is constantly busy. I now cant return the phone and go elsewhere as by the time I return the 14 day cooling off period will have ended. All because Vodafone got my order wrong and dont care about it - they have just lied to me. After all the years of loyaltly too.

Hi ceephax,
The 14 day cooling off period will kick in from the date of delivery rather than when you ordered the phone.
We'll take a look into your account to see what's going on - Please contact us here.
Thanks,
Phil

Vodafone are the moist useless company i have every had to deal with - THEY DONT CARE ABOUT US,
My iphone6 still does not work - i tried to call as I am overseas and told that they are very busy and I i will be called back - the call back must have been half a ring then it went dead. Gave me a muber to ring (08080 000 1666) that apprently no longer exists so i had to ring again. i will get another call back in 52 minutes.
I cannot wait to get back tot he UK and cancel my agreement and go to EE

I have given up. Sat in the Czech Republic and my phone still does not work. No message, no voicemails and no emails. All I get from Vodafone are lies after lies.
They dont care about me and no-one wants to know. I had a reply from Vodafone on another post and sent inforamtion but heard nothing
After trying to call today I am on hold with a call back in 52 minutes. My next call is for my PAC code
Vodafone are liars and dont care about the customer. EE have better 4G coverage and better deals. Why stay with this shower?

I have been unimpressed with Vodafone on how they have conducted themselves regarding my iphone 6 plus order. When ordering my device, the delivery date mentioned over the phone appears to be completely inaccurate :smileysad:

Yes they dont care- I have been with them years. EE have some cracking deals so the moment i land in the UK tomorrow I will be gettign my PAC and sending the iPhone6 back to them.
They are not bothered though, all they do is hide my messages on this forum rather than sorting my problem out.
