Has anyone else had problems with top up on PAYG? Vodafone has stolen £35 of my money so far.

Hi @Lordscobie

Not for me. They've taken my credit for my big value bundle as arranged.

Have Customer Service via 191 or Live Chat explained where the credit has gone ?

Your Myvodafone online should help too.

Credit it can be taken via Big Value Bundles or even by texts converting to MMS messages when an emoticon as one example is added or long text messages sent.

I've had issues to day with PAYG top-ups on my mobile WiFi - Wasn't working today and going online just took me to the top-up page. Assumed my previous top-up had expired so bought another £20-worth via the website once I got logged in to my PC. Still nothing.  Eventually contacted support: Guy acknowledged that there was a 5GB bundle that wasn't activated, put me on hold for a while then said he'd sorted it out and to wait 20 minutes. 2 hours later still not working. Phoned again, girl said I wasn't the first to have this problem and to remove my SIM for an hour while they fixed the issues (remove the SIM? why don't I just switch the Mobile WiFi device off?). Well, almost another 2 hours on and still nothing works.

Sorry to hear you are also having the same problem as myself told a lot of ##~## by folk who dont care a monkeys. I wrote and complained and Mr Chawda said Ihad not registered on My Vodafone ??? So how could I use my phone. The lunatics are ruling the asylum.

Well I've taken the SIM out and left the device off for a while, left it it on for a while, re-inserted the SIM and I'm still getting "Log in to WLAN" on my tablet.

Not too happy about getting the run around from the support call centre and of course it's all clocking down the top-up expiry.
The thing is, I'm now pretty convinced that my previous top-up was actually still "live" and it's some technical goof-up with my account that's caused the whole problem.

Well, it appears that my issue has been resolved sometime between 11PM last night and 7AM this morning as my Mobile Wifi is now hapilly connecting my tablet to the internet. I've still to scheck my account to see what's actually happened though.

Well well ain't you the lucky one. Chalk up a victory for Vodafone!

Good luck Mac

Vodafone the Thief now is Thief and Liar!
I contacted the help and support(joke of the year) telephone operator who promised she wd phone me back before the day was out. That was 7 hours ago and as per failed to communicate. Has anyone else had this problem? Please dont answer this Band of Brothers as you are clearly a company plant!

Hi. This is a public forum where anyone can reply, you can't ask certain people not to post and @BandOfBrothers is a customer just like you, he does not work for Vodafone and he is also not a company plant.
