Hi
I have Vodafone advantage through work. I used it when getting a new phone in March 2016, and my friend then also used it around June/July 2016. I'm currently trying to use it for an additional phone but the code is not being accepted. The phone is at full price and not discounted. I was thinking this might be because the code i'm using is now 18 months old, but i can't request a new one as my email address it already in use?
I tried to use online chat to request a new code, but they told me either that "this is because the code is no longer valid & new code cannot be taken out because you can only fill the discount for within first 30 days of your contract / upgrade start which is already past for your number " or that "that the discount can only be applied when the order for new contract is placed & completed ".
I'm pretty sure this isn't the case and i should be able to use my code now to obtain the discount at check out? I was thinking the error might be because the discounts given have changed slightly since i first got the code?
Any help would be appreciated

Hi @rowe2112 I am a bit confused when you mention a code? When I got my VEA applied I simply filled in the form and the discount was added automatically at account level, I never received a code?
It is true that it can only be applied for within the first 30 days of a new or upgraded contract being taken out.

edit, just had a look at the VEA page and it does now mention a code.

Yeah i realise it can only be applied to a contract within 30 days of commencement. I think the support staff seemed to indicate that once i've got a code, i can only use this for 30 days then my Vodafone advantage is unavailable.
It should be that i am provided with a code, that is effective for as long as i am eligible for Advantage, and this code can only be redeemed against full price contracts within 30 days of commencement?

Hi @rowe2112
If you have taken out a new number and want to add the Advantage discount, this is going to mean having to complete the form for the additional number. This is needed to make sure you still work for the company, the company still paricipates in the scheme and you are eligible for the discount. The email address you use will be your works address, and this should be accepted.
Alternatively, a Vodafone Store can add the discount for you but quite sure you will need to take in your last payslip.
