There are a couple of other things I'd like to check here, as it looks like the modem hardware is not installing properly.
Can you tell me what you see when you click on "Manage Devices" in Vodafone Mobile Connect?
Also, can you go to Device Manager, via the Windows Control Panel, and expand the following categories - Modems, Ports (COM & LPT), USB Host Controllers.
Take a screenshot of this, and post it for us. That will tell us what has installed correctly, and which components are missing. From there we should be able to work out a fix for you
