Z10 will not connect

Hello,

just got a Blackberry Z10 with a new sim.

I've removed my number from the suresignal, readded it, rebooted, waited hours and the new Z10 with new sim is still not connecting to the suresignal V2 unit. The other phone assigned to it works fine.

Hi crummock2,

That's great news!

As you said from the off, the change of SIM card can result in the Sure Signal not picking up the handset for a time. To help speed this up, we advise removing and re-adding the number.

I can see that you did this a back on February 8th, but looking at the times you ere-registered straight away, which may have prevented the Sure Signal picking up the change - the number was back in place before it could contact the server again.

On February 10th I can see you waited longer, so this may explain why it then started working last night. We didn't change anything at this end, but the system may have finally completed the changeover.

Everything looks fine now, but please let us know if you need any further help down the line.

I have the same problem. Normal sim was working ok on sure signal every day in 9520. Now switched to micro sim today in Z10 and it will not connect to the sure signal box. The other two phones in the house are working fine. I cannot remove and add the number as it is the automatic number added to the account by vodafone?? so what do I do?

Got Vodafone to remove and re-add number and re sync. Box was supposed to reboot on its own but it didn't so I turned box off and on later and fixed. :smileyvery-happy:
