What are the rules for taking out an additonal contract

As long as you've conducted your current running contract ok without missing Payments you should be ok to take out I think up to 4 contracts out. You'll not need credit checking again either.

Vodafone have a three month rule.  If you have had your current contract for three months with all payments up to date, you should be in a good position to take out an additional line.
