bold 9780 payg internet settings

Does anyone know how to get the internet working. Ive factory reset a bb bold that was from vodafone. 

I inserted new payg sim, paid for £10 payg credit + £5 for bis add on

cleared service books, registered in host routing table 

still nothing, no internet no bis...

The first test is to make sure that BIS is running on your account and there's a simple way of telling.

Where it says either 3G or GPRS, if the letters are in upper case BIS is active. if it says 3g or gprs in lower case then BIS isn't running.

That will either eliminate one potential problem or tell you what the problem is.
