help i have reset my settings now it wont do anything

Hi I have reset my settings on my iphone 6 and its just staying on the apple screen then going red turning off and doing the same again

I would suggest you connect it to iTunes and then restart it.

I have connected it to itunes but its doing the same, it told me to download an update so been sat here since waiting and its still the same i dont really understand all about itunes

Put it in DFU mode and then connect to iTunes.
Bear in mind, if you do this you will lose everything on the phone unless you have been backing it up.

Hold the Power Button (3 secs)
Continue holding the power button and also hold the home button (15 secs)
Release the power button while continuing to hold the home button (10 secs)
Your device should prompt with the "Connect to iTunes Screen"

I did this last night and it kept getting stuck at preparing iphone for restore and it was sat there for 3 hours

If it will not restore in DFU mode, I would suggest you take it to an Apple Store. There is something more serious wrong with it.
