iPhone 7 plus order more information?

I ordered my upgrade to the iPhone 7 plus on Friday evening (9th Sep). Straight away I got a "Your upgrade request" and "Your SIM swap" emails but nothing else. 

Order tracker says "

Confirmation

Your order has been accepted.We've placed your order."

But there's no more information than that. I'd just like to know when I'm likely to recieve it? Obviously it would be nice if it's Friday but if it's going to be a longer wait, that's fine but I'd like to know that it's going to be longer and roughly how long? 

In the past I've usually ordered direct from Apple so I'm not used to this "order goes into black hole" approach

All the pre orders for the iPhone 7 should say we've placed your order, anyone who's had an update further than that has been given duff info. The status bar won't change until Vodafone get the stock in. Honestly, every year is the same up until the night before the release. Then all of a sudden the devise becomes in stock and gets marked as dispatched.

When you look at the order tracker does it list the device you've ordered at the very top?

I ordered my iphone 7 at 9am on Friday.  I received 4 emails and a text shortly afterwards confirming my order and letting me know that it would be delivered by DPD.  However there is no link to any tracker or anything in any of these messages.

Where are people seeing some sort of tracker or status?

In among the emails there will be one that is titled "your Vodafone order" your order number will be at the top and further down the email will be some information explaining DPD will deliver the handset. Within that text there is a link to check the status of your order...

Aw ok, thanks.  So it now says that they are delivering my old iphone 6 plus to my old address from three years ago.

Pre ordered 7 plus 256 JB at 08:45 on launch day and was assured delivery from 16/09 - 19/09, did not recieve email confirmation so called Voda yesterday only to be told there is no record of my pre order.

Had to re order and was told 2 - 3 weeks. Told them I was not happy and that i have been with Voda near enough since the mobile was invented and I want my preorder for the 16th.

They told me I would be put on high priority what ever that means, got my confirmation email soon after and also can see my order on Voda track it.

I understand about the JB supply issues but if I do not get the dam phone on the date they first gave me im off.

To anyone who has not had email confirmation I think you should call to get it sorted.

One more thing, the day after pre order I called Voda to see if it had gone through okay and the lady confirmed my phone and tarrif as correct.

Something very fishy going on why cant they just be honest about the situation.

Sold my 6s plus to Enviorofone on launch day so now using a 10 pound Nokia and strugling to hear the person on the other end the ear peace volume is way to low.

Anyone that has pre-ordered an Iphone 7 will receive updates regarding delivery a day or two before delivery takes place, please keep checking your tracking for further information.

What about my order which is going to my old address and lists my old (current) phone instead of the iphone 7 that i ordered?

What I'm looking for is basically just, will I get my iPhone 7+ on Friday as advertised by your website when I placed the order. Or will I get it sometime later? It shouldn't be a difficult question?
