The issue you’re experiencing:
intermittent 3g signal, normally the signal is very good, but for the last week, it keeps dropping and ending up as one bar with vodaphone wifi instead. The sure signal device itself always shows the normal lights and no indication of any issues.
What light sequence you're seeing:
red light solid, first two white solid.

@AaronB2015 - I’ve checked your serial number and this is showing as last connecting to our servers yesterday.
Have you noticed an improvement since posting?
If not, please try restarting your phones. If this still doesn't work, try resetting your Sure Signal as follows:
All the LEDs will temporarily switch off for about 10 seconds. The power LED will then light up and remain constant whilst white internet LED flashes continuously.
Let us know how you get on.

Hi Jenny,
It has been better today, but the last week it has been very sporadic at times. The sure signal doesn't show any errors but the phone won't connect. I had been rebooting my phone when it happened but it made litlte difference. I generally just had to wait till it all decided to work.
If needed then I will reset the device, but ideally, I'd prefer not to. I've almost no signal without it and texts don't work without it, despite vodaphone wifi. And given the usage of mobiles to provide second factor authentication, it's key it works.
Thanks,
Aaron

Thanks for your update.
We understand your concerns, but we do suggest restarting your Sure Signal as this will refresh the services.
If your issues persist, please let us know and we'll be happy to take another look.

So again, I had a number of drop outs where the signal just went.
My phone is capable of Vodaphone wif callingi, but I don't understand why Vodaphone choose not to allow texts via this method, this would remove my need for the sure signal in the first place. I have various accounts which send texts for login details and they don't work unless the sure signal is working.
I was previously with EE and their solution allowed both calls and texts, sadly for me they're even more rubbish overall.
I do like the service I get from Vodaphone, I just wish they would fix that issue. It doesn't make sense since they both are digitial traffic.

Hi, Is the problem here you have a 4G phone? Suresignal does not work if there is 4G weak signals in the home. If your phone is set to the default 4G then it will try to log on to the weak 4G and reject the SureSignal 3G. This means you might get one bar at best and if it is flaky you may not get logged back on to 3G.
This error is becoming more regular as 4G is enabled on masts in rural and borderline reception areas (ironically exactly where 3G is really bad too and so where SS is used extensively).
The clunky workaround is to switch your phones from 4G to 3G - OR wrap your house in silver foil to shield from the weak 4G signal.
