Hi @Jupesfm

I’ve checked with the unlocking team and this should now be fixed.

Could you please follow the instructions on our Apple Unlocking video and let me know how it goes.

Thanks

Michelle

hi michelle i have tried everything and its stil not working i have included a print of the error

i have restored it aswell and i am getting the same message

i am just so baffled why its not unlocking vodaphone sim card works fine in it

Hi @Jupesfm

We need to confirm that you’ve followed the steps from the video on my previous post.

We also need to confirm that you’re signed into your Apple ID through iTunes and on the iPhone.

Thanks

Hi @Jupesfm

You mention in your post that your phone says to activate over WiFi. This message would only show if the phone is brand new or it’s been factory reset.

Please follow these exact steps and let me know that you’ve done each:

  • Sign into iTunes on your PC with your Apple ID (make sure this is the same Apple ID that you use on your iPhone).
  • Insert your Vodafone SIM into your iPhone and follow the steps to activate the phone.
  • Once the phone is active, plug your iPhone into your PC.
  • Back up any data you wish to save.
  • Switch your iPhone off, remove the Vodafone SIM and replace with a SIM card from another network.
  • With your iPhone still plugged into your PC, switch your iPhone back on.
  • You should then see a notification confirming your iPhone is unlocked.
  • You can then restore your iPhone from your previous back up.

This is the exact process needed to unlock the phone.

Thanks,

Simon
