locked device

Hi,

my HTC One Mini is locked since last sunday now : indeed it happened suddenly saying "device locked for security reason : unable to connect to the server".

I need to enter my PIN code to unlock it, the problem is that I can't press the "unlock button" if I only type 4 characters, but PIN code in France are only 4 characters! 

I tried "forgot your PIN?" but receiving the email is pointless to me, because when I go on http://protect.vodafone.co.uk, I can't log in or even register because I'm French and the only possibility for mobile number is +44!!

Please help me, I can't do anything and I don't want to reset my phone otherwise I will lost all my photos and music...

Hi

Are you a Vodafone Uk customer ?

Is it your phone that's locked or is this connected to a sim pin / PUK Code that's required. For a PUK code you'll need to speak to the network. 

If the phone has been IMEI locked by the network then you'll need to contact the network to have that investigated. 

If your a uk Vodafone customer then Live Chat is for use in the Uk but other people have said it has worked outside the Uk. Link in my signature. Abroad numbers are in the link too.
