problems with iphone 5c

Hi

I have an iphone 5c at the moment with yourselves, I spoke to someone a few weeks agao about it restarting all the time, I was told I had to pay over £200 to get it fixed, I cannot afford to do his also I dont see why if I pay my monthly contract i should have to pay extra to get it fixed, the problem is still occurring.

Also I was promised 4g in my area when I bought the phone, this is not the case,I do not even get 3g at all unless I travel to a large city.

Anyone else had problems with iphones restarting, getting pretty frustrated with it now??

On the iPhone hold down the Sleep/Wake Button and Home button together until the Apple Logo shows. Then On seeing this Apple Logo release both buttons ,and the iPhone will reset , which has been known to clear most glitches.

Ensure your on the latest iOS too.

If your under the one year warranty and you have a local  store make an appointment via https://www.apple.com/uk/retail/geniusbar/ to let  take a look.

Take a look at your masts for actual signal coverage to see if 4G is available. Rollout will eventually happen in your area. Im not sure if Vodaphone do give out actual prior rollout info.

Have you tried a back up to iCloud and or iTunes and then restore the iPhone via iTunes ,but set up as a new device. Don't upload your back up back into the iPhone.

By doing this if the issues stop then your back ups are corrupted or if it persists the iPhone is possibly at fault beyond your intervention.

How far are you out of warranty as I've known the Genius Bar help even when the iPhone is slightly out of warranty.

They also offer an out of warranty replacement at a cost.

Also check any household insurance or bank account as some give insurance cover too. Check T&C and excess fees may apply.
