"number is restricted from this phone"

Hi there.

Yesterday at around 2pm my iPhone 4 got cut off. Since then i have been unable to make any calls, send texts or access the internet. A couple of days before, i received a text saying my bill had to be paid however online it said this wasn't due until the 28th. Because it was cut off i paid my bill yesterday but it didn't help. I've tried contacting customer services but their system was down and i was told they were open till 9 but when i phoned at half 8 i was informed they were in fact shut. Can anyone help me fix my phone or explain to me why this has happened?

Hi Ally. I am afraid customer care is your only hope here. Paying the bill SHOULD have restarted the sim (just turning the handset off/on would normally do it after the payment taken).A Vf shop can look also if you have one nearby.

Hiya, yes I agree, if you have had unsually high spending etc this month it could be that the account has been suspended for your own protection, they normally contact you in one form another prior to doing this,   Customer services can be contact from 08700 700 191

Exact same happening to me now! They cancelled mt direct debit then blamed my bank! 15 yrs it's been in place with no issues. 

Paid today over the phone now calls are saying restricted! 

The pope is easier to reach than someone who speaks English at vodafone.
