Hi I recently got the Samsung galaxy note 4 on a 4G plan I can barely get a good reception in stockport area.the signal is OK on my samsung alpha which is also on Vodafone?

Are you by any chance on the edge of a cell (have a look at the Coverage Checker).   It could be that one device is locking to one cell and one to another.
