sure signal fault

My sure signal is registered correctly and all the registered mobiles show full 3G coverage however there is an intermittent fault with calls, both incoming and outgoing say call failed. All users are unale to place calls but some calls are being received. The fault does not affect Data or SMS.

I have tried hard reset on the mobiles and also re-installing the sure signal.

Are you able to advise as to how I fix this please?

Thanks Neil

Hi nmcc12,

Can you take a look at our Sure Signal Troubleshooting thread, and then post back your results if you’re not directed to an existing thread?

Thanks

Andy

HI,

My Sure Signal has recently stopped providing cover even though there have been no changes to the WIFI or BT supplied Broadband (that I know of)

Results of required tests are as follows;

Your speed test results - 0.96mbs (Honestly, this is the best its been for a long time!)

Your ping test results Packet Loss - 0%, Ping 44ms, Jitter 9ms

Your external IP address - 86.138.88.183

The results of a traceroute.

As I say, it was working fine and through no changes now longer works.

I have tried to the hard reset with no change, the network port is working fine as shown by the lights.

Please help :Smiling:

Cheers.

Your broadband needs to run at least at 1Mbps for Sure Signal to work. Your broadband connection is simply too slow I'm afraid.

Hi Sidney37,

Chorotega, is spot on here.

As this is now working again I would recommend keeping an eye on your speed as this could stop it working if it drops below the required threshold.

James

Seems too be working again now following her final hard reset of both sure signal and router :Smiling:
