After a power failure my sure signal will not complete its set up, I have tried all the recommended methods of getting it going again without success, any ideas?

I have lights flashing on the unit, so it seems strange the power cable is the problem.
it seems a lot of other poeple are having the same problem with there units, could it be a fault with vodafone.

From what I've read even tho the lights are on it can be the issue.
