I have a Vodafone smart phone to put me on till I'm due to upgrade my contract as my blackberry 9900 went to phone heaven. But recently my Vodafone smartphone has also been giving me problems . It always comes up battery over temperature I have to turn it of to charge it or the back of the phone is boiling hot . It has started deleting contacts on the phone . The battery life on it is literally non existent I can charge it over night for it to be at 15 percent in three hours I do not batter my phone or its battery . I expected better quality from this phone but its not living up to expectations . I'm not due an upgrade till December 24th id like to know is there a guarantee on this so I can return it back to vodafone
There can be all kinds of reasons for overheating, but it could be the battery itself. If you're still under contract, the phone will be covered and you can get it repaired, or at least checked over. A Vodafone shop will be able to organise this for you.
