Sorry, but you said you could see no benefit in trying out another network for free as you were completely satisfied with the service you receive on Vodafone.
Myself and others have pointed out several aspects of the Vodafone coverage that are inferior to other networks that you seem to dismiss. Yet, you seem to agree about Cornwall.
Your comment about poulation density is exactly correct, yet that does not stop other networks, EE in particular, from having an excellent service in these areas, like Cornwall.
The whole point of a mobile network is to allow people to communicate when they are mobile, and that does not nesessarily mean being in urban areas.
There is no doubt in my mind that outside urban areas, Vodafone falls way below the standard set by EE.
Take the train from Paddington to Truro and see how you get on with your ability to conduct business over Vodafone's 3G network. Then, for the journey back, get a freee EE sim and try doing the same. I'm pretty sure that then you won't be feeling quite so smug about Vodafone's coverage.
By the way, the journey is probably around 300 miles, so you will be experiencing the difficulties over quite a chunk of the country.

I'm dismissing them in the same way that you are dismissing the fact that I have good service pretty much everywhere I go and while I haven't been to Cornwall in a while I do travel a lot and not just in and around London where I live and work. Those areas would include Wiltshire and Bristol as well as Scotland and the Midlands.
Different companies make different investment decisions. For instance, there is no cable TV and broadband where I live. I live in a densly populated area of Essex in a town with tens of thousands of people.

Some things are an opinion, and some things are facts, but if you want to shut your eyes to facts, then that's fine by me. Take my train challenge and see if you feel the same.
Regarding the comparison with cable TV, that has no relevance to the discussion here, but you are right, different companies do make different investment decisions, and Vodafone has made the deicsion not to invest in a nationwide 3G/4G network to the same extent that other networks, e.g. EE, have.

It's funny how your views are facts whereas mine are opinions based on shut eyes.
Have a good evening.

It is a fact that EE has better 3G/4G coverage of the UK than Vodafone outside of urban areas.
That's all I am saying.
If you want to dispute that, then go ahead.

Please point out where I have disputed that idea.

I didn't say you had disputed it, I was asking if you wanted to dispute it!
Anyway, this is becoming all rather petty, so let's just stop now.

The IMS status show that it's only Voice enabled. I hope Vodafone will implement this soon I missed being able to text using underground wifi
