Please help no internet connection activated today

Is there someone from Vodafone who can check when my internet will work. I spent 45 minutes on phone to Waqar who said should be working by now. Still same as before with internet red light on router just flashing. I WFH and must be able to use this tomorrow or will have to make a MASSIVE complaint. Moved house 1st April.

Forgot to say spoke to Waqar this morning and when he checked said everything had been done their end and no need for engineer to visit. Phone line also not working

If it is FTTC, a flashing red light means it's not connecting to the street cabinet, Check the DSL cable is in the red internet socket and the connections to the filter (if you need one) and the Master socket are secure. If that is all good, it will be an Openreach problem. If you are on FTTP let us know.

How do I know if fttc or fttp please?

What did you sign up to? If you are connecting to the phone line it will be FTTC, but if the property has a fibre connection box, they will have supplied it over that.

Fttc I think then. I have now just finished a 50 minute phone call and was told there is a fault on the phone line and a ticket has been raised. It will then take 24/48 hours for engineer to try and fix. So I have no internet or phone and can’t do my job now. Thanks Vodafone if you are reading this your service is utter rubbish. I will be changing provider and making a full complaint including compensation for the hassle this is going to cause me.

If there is a line fault, it would be the same for any ISP. It's Openreach who will need to fix it.

ah the 24/48 hour chestnut . . its a load of crap!

had that same crap response for a month now

Do yourself a favour and look elsewhere it will never get resolved customer service is crap and ##~## fibre aka city fibre have vodafone by the nuts and never resolve a simple issue!

Im a month in still with no connection and no resolution in sight.
