I was apprehensive moving to Vodafone (from BT this time). Something was telling me "don't do it" but i did in the end mostly due to their deals and vouchers (which may or may not materialise)
Install was five minutes of Openreach guy coming in and unplugging my BT router and plugging in the VF router.
The direct wifi worked okay.
But stuff around my house wasnt working.
Sky just stopped working so had to reset the network settings.
Weirdly Sky Q multiroom stopped working completely. it had lost its connection back to the Sky Q box.
Not sure how a swap to VF BB could start that going.
My TP link hub was connected to the VF BB and nothing on it worked.
The hub is dumb so again not sure how changing BB provider provoked that.
I still cant get it working. I'm dreading asking Vodafone for help. So thought id post it here.
I'm a non IT person, so needs to be easy to understand.

You said you moved from BT this time, have you been on Vodafone before?
If you know the SSID and password for the BT router, try changing the Vodafone router to match. It should all work then.

SSID = change the wifi username and password to the same as the old bt router wifi username and password

Just an update. Got sky back by choosing to reset the network connection on the Sky box.
This must have messed up the Sky multiroom as i had to reset those two by adding them back to the main sky box using the WPS button on each
The TP link hub which connects stuff like my Hive hub, mesh wifi and CCTV cameras
After much too-ing and fro-ing, it was found to be the Vodafone router. One of the ports on it didnt work. first port on the router and that the one i connected to the TP link hub. switched to port 2 and everything came back.
My incoming calls are still not working. Outgoing calls are fine and present the correct CLI.
I guess the number port from BT didnt complete yet. i'll call/chat with them tomorrow to try to solve that.
