So, it looks like my time with Vodafone will be coming to an end. I couldn't upgrade automatically and so had to go through an advisor. I can't believe how expensive the best offer Vodafone had for me was. Result, well as BT is £16/month cheaper for a faster service I've gone with BT. I guess once I've lost my "together" discount it's really on £13 more per month but that £156 per year!
So early next month my Vodafone account will close!

Did you check the plastic hole cover for medium wave interference?

I would have, but the only radio I possess that has that band in in the car parked on the drive, which is too far away to pick anything up!

I think the latency has finally settled, lower still would be better but I'm happy:
Oddly pings to fast.com have increased to 8ms though!

I'm currently paying 29 gbp for my FTTC with vodafone. Had offer today for full fibre 500 (no back up dongle) 35 gbp. Fair enough but that offer includes temporary 20 gbp discount. So when that expires, it will be 55 gbp and I don't want to be stuck on that! Maybe come contract renewal time they would offer more attractive renewal deal but at the moment, I feel like sitting tight.

At the end of your contract, it's not uncommon to have to go through a sales advisor to get the best offer. When you reach that point it depends on who you talk to and how much they are prepared to drop. For my broadband it was a case of "computer says £xx", yet I'm still on a mobile contract which last time I checked is much lower than all the other big players!.
