5GHz wifi - Status: Off & Not appearing

Hello!

So I've been trying to split my main wifi into 2.4GHz & 5GHz bands and have followed all instruction of expert mode > Wifi > Split Wifi bands (SSID) and have ended up with the following: (Excuse the silly SSID)

Great! Thought that was super simple and clicked apply. But nothing appeared on my 5GHz capable devices.

When I have looked in Status & Support > Status, I find the following:

Which shows the status of my 5GHz wifi as 'Off'.

Any advice?

Can you see any of your neighbours Wifi's on there, or are you not close enough?

I can. 

Looking at other threads, it may be a case of needing a new router? Just seems like such a specific fault to only affect this one aspect and leave 2.4GHz working fine.

I agree it seems most unlikely, but if you are able to see others then it does sound like the most plausible cause.

Good luck convincing Vodafone to send you one..

If you were to factory reset the router and not make any changes do you see it on the analyser then?
