Any positive stories about broadband service?

I've just signed up to Superfast 2 and the activation date is not until late September.  I'm a little nervous having read all the negative posts here and on Twitter, but then again people are usually quick to complain but not so much where credit is due. I really would be grateful - if you had a good experience so far - to share your feedback here before I commit for 18 months! Nothing too detailed, just to confirm if you're happy with the service and if you're getting the speeds you were expecting, that's all.

I'm reviving this rather old thread to say that in the last couple of weeks Vodafone seems to have fixed whatever was restricting my bandwidth, so I'm well pleased.

I sync reliably at 79.997 Mbit/s but previous measured download speeds were normally around 60 Mbit/s. I've been OK with that, but it's been a shame not to have the full bandwidth that the line obviously supports.

Now my download speed is consistently around 74 Mbit/s, which is good news. Still on fast path, so latency is 10–15 ms depending on which hops you're measuring.

Clearly some Vodafone customers have a lot of problems, including very serious contention in urban areas. I feel their pain, but it would be good to keep this thread running to show that not everyone has a bad experience.
