Broadband Pro Backup Dongle

How do I know if my Broadband backup dongle, plugged into my router, is ready to work if the Wifi drops out? Ithas a Blue Steady light, which the leaflet says means Regidtered to 4G, but it also says a blinking blue light would mean it's connected to 4G. So does that mean it's not connected and ready to go?

@ChickenPiriPiri The best way to test the dongle is to disconnect the router from the internet, then use one of your devices to access the internet via ethernet or wifi. If you can, the dongle is working as designed.

If you’re using the Pro 2 you should see the mobile LED light lit up on the back of the router. Also if you go in to the router config and select expert mode, then status and support, then mobile status you should see the signal strength. Also to test it remove the internet cable and on the Overview page in the router config it will update to say mobile and show signal strength.
