Broadband/WiFi connection problem

When I connect to my broadband via WiFi it shows as being connected then, after about 30 seconds or so, it shows as being "connected without internet", and sometimes disconnects altogether. I have had no problem connecting my phone to other WiFi in other places, and this is also happening to my wife's phone and our TV. Also I seem to have 2 Vodafone networks coming up on my phone when I try to connect to WiFi. One is my normal network and the other has exactly the same name but has an extra part on the end that is "-2.3G-ext". Does anyone know what that is or means? It says I need a password for it but, if it's mine, I don't know what the password is or how to find it.
