I've just switched from BT I was hoping that Vodafone would provide a smoother experience only to realise on day one they are just as bad.
Anybody managed to fix the problem for changing the router wifi password?
If you go through the process and you choose the change password button and then go through the palaver of creating a password when you return to the main page and save you get changes cannot be applied and then the original password is pasted back into the box. It's obviously a JavaScript page refresh problem.
What on earth is a matter with the people were so obsessed with marketing they can't fix the basics.

Assuming you have the THG3000, I've changed both the router password and the Wi-Fi password without problems.
If you create a password which matches the criteria, you press save, then when back on the general Wi-Fi page you press apply. Works for me.
Edit: I do remember I had similar problems in the past and it was because I hadn't saved changes on another page. Try logging out of the router and then go straight to the Wi-Fi page after logging back in.

Doesn't work. After you change the password in the pop-up which the pop-up confirms its is a good password and you return to the main page. You can check with display characters that you have the new password entered in the box. When you apply changes you get a message cannot update then the page refreshes and the original password is reinserted back in the box. Browser is firefox latest.
The only solution to this is to set up the second Wi-Fi network with the password you want to use ie the one all of the friends and family have. This is easier than trying to use the very long default password.

Have you tried changing the main Wi-Fi password to something simple, but which matches their criteria.
Mine is just 2 words, that normally wouldn't be put together, but with the first letter as a capital, and any o's as zeros.
I don't believe there is any great problems with the programming of the router.

Thanks for reply. I develop software [Removed] so I think I get the problem. This is clearly a bug in the webpage. Might be browser related or due to add/cookie blocker but either way it doesnt work and the developers have not tested thoroughly.
