Hello
I have a working Vodafone dongle to connect to the Internet. The dongle has 8GB of data credit. I now have a desktop PC (Windows 10) with a new wireless network adapter which I have installed successfully.
However, when I click on the wireless icon (next to the clock) on the PC, I cannot see my Vodafone Mobile Wifi (or any other network) though the dongle is sitting on top of the PC tower.
How do I go about setting up Windows 10, please, to recognise my Vodafone dongle?
Thank you.

It's a dongle so usb? Plugged into the pc? You should be getting a connection via the USB.
These often come with a small storage space that will show on your pc as a small usb harddrive. Install the software on it.

I've a number of USB wireless adapters, and none install as a drive, and Windows 10 has found the correct drivers for itself.
When you say you installed the adapter, what kind of an adapter is it? A card you installed into the PC or USB?
I suspect your problem is "chicken and egg"
Windows can't get the drivers until it connects to the web, and it can't connect to the web until it gets the drivers.
If you check device manager, you should be able to see that a wireless adapter is missing its driver.
