Connections issues - Broadband 'on' but not actually working.

Good afternoon,

Like a lot of people it seems that my first two weeks were fairly event free and my broadband was fine, however in the last few weeks my connection has been awful. I have routinly had my connection drop out yet at the same time remain on. For example I would be in a voice chat party on the PS4 but certain games would tell me I'm offline as would my phone and tablet. I've also had a number of apps not work whilst being connected to the broadband wifi yet if I turn it off and run them through 4G they work fine so it's NOT the apps.

As silly as it sounds I can live with (to a certain degree) having NO broadband but this garbled mess of it working but not working is driving me insane. There's seemingly no pattern to it either. I've tried all the usual fixes and been through the troubleshooting section twice. My hair is growing greyer by the day!

Exact same problem here, the only fix I have found is running in single band 2.4ghz, I believe Vodafone routers cant handle dual band and keep crashing, its a bit slower in this mode but some of my devices dont recognise 5ghz so cant run single band with that, ive been considering getting a new router but it just seems like a lot of effort, im probably going to cancel as soon as Im out of contract and go back to BT, theyre a bit more dear but their service is top notch

@Rhythm @Ishi Hi both, we can do some troubleshooting from our end and help with the speeds you're currently getting. Please send our team a message on Facebook or Twitter and we'll find out what may be causing this.

Theres nothing vodafone can do for me apart from getting me a new router, ive tried everything, and the same issue happens with all devices (iphone, android, laptops) in my home when dual band is on, it works for around 10 - 20 mins then stops working even though its connected, and when on either of the single bands it works perfectly without any issues

Hi Natasha,

Thank you for your reply, is there anyway it could be done via E-mail perhaps? I don't use twitter and Facebook isn't something I frequent often. Is so please private message me or please feel free to contact me on the email I used to set this  account up with. Thank you.
