Hi,
Hoping someone might know how to get to the bottom of what has been a very frustrating problem. I'm with BT and have openreach FTTP. Contract is coming to an end and I'm looking for a better deal and Vodafone are very competitive at the moment. I've gone on to their availability checker and it says they cannot provide me with broadband.
I've been in contact with Vodafone who told me I can't get FTTP even though I already have it installed by openreach. They then check with openreach who just say its available in my area, which I already know being on it already. I email openreach and all they can tell me is the same thing.
I have checked my neighbours addresses either side of my house and both can get the full selection of Vodafone offerings. There is no possible way my house shouldn't be the same but trying to get someone to understand and look into this has been an absolute nightmare.
Does anyone have any knowledge of this sort of thing happening or who I need to contact at Vodafone to sort this? I get nowhere when I ring them.
Any help greatly appreciated!

You're right @kwapablo, if the service is available at your neighbours property it should be available at yours. It sounds like there's been a mix up somewhere and your address details haven't been released to us. If you pop us a message via our social channels we'll be able to look into this.

Will do that, thanks Mark

Hoping somebody can help me out with this, just about at my wits end!
So I've asked the question via social media channels. I've spoken to sales, broadband, even openreach who just tell me to speak to Vodafone. I am completely lost at how to get someone to look into this.
I keep getting told there may not be port availability in the cabinet in my area. I just can't understand how this is possible. There's about 40 houses on my street, I've checked about 10 of them on Vodafones availability checker and every single property can get up to a 910 mb connection except for mine. I've asked several people at Vodafone if there are no ports available why are my neighbours able to sign up and nobody can give me an answer. It just can't be right.
What I really think I need to do is speak to someone in Vodafones technical department. Does anybody know how I could do this?
Never have I had to fight so hard to give my money to a company!

I believe that "port availability in the cabinet" is a term used in FTTC and doesn't apply to FTTP, so if I am right then VF are not doing very well.
Frankly I'd find another broadband provider in your case as their database doesn't correctly have your address details, it'd be a load less painful.

Yeah that's the conclusion I've come to after trying again today.. Thanks anyway!
