Hi there, I switched to an unlimited Vodafone GigaCube plan (5g) over the weekend, but unfortunately we’re having some trouble getting a solid WiFi signal. The ‘optimise location’ function always shows 100% for both 5G and 4G, and speeds are good when connected, but often things just won’t load. It seems to happen only to one device at a time (so for example, the wifi internet will be working fine on my phone, but not at all on the laptop). Restarting the router seems to get things running but restarting it several times a day isn’t really workable.
I’m wondering if there is some setting I can change to make access simpler for devices or if it could be a hardware issue?

Dude change your channel some have good signal strength but crap through put don't just say signal good as this is not always the case hi signal equal best speed.
Set it manually and do a speed test on each channel and pick the best

It’s not speed that’s the problem. I get usually around 200mbps when it works. It’s just that sometimes it doesn’t work at all.

Potentially solved. Something to do with the ANS server. I found it here

I have had issues with mine from day one. The WiFi has a poor range but you can improve it by doing the following.
1,Separate the 2.4 and 5g WiFi signal as the 5g has a very poor range.
2, tune the band by changing the channel to one that works well in your area for me it was Chanel 9.
3, add an access point or get your own router with better WiFi.
You also might notice once you have a decent signal you get drop outs this is Vodafone's bad network due to packet loss and lag spikes.
Personally I am going to cancel my contract as they can't fix it.
Don't get me started on the wired network and nat type
