So long story short I have a home broadband package with Vodafone. Unfortunately it has been down for two days. These things happen, things go wrong and I always appreciate that, it is how you deal with it that is what is remembered. I rang up to report the fault and I was told I would be provided a free unlimited data only sim to get me out of trouble as I need it for work. I have now found out that promise can't be lived upto as its not possible... I find that very hard to believe. Its possible just the company is choosing not to be of assistance nor to assist a long term customer to get them out of bother. As it stands like many I have no choice but to work from home. No data, no work. No work, no pay.
If I have to get the data another way through a sim Vodafone aren't even the most competitively priced so I'd likely go elsewhere and because of how badly they have dealt with it I'd take the existing broadband contract elsewhere as I can't trust them.
Does anyone from Vodafone actually reply to these? Intrigued as never used it before.

vodafone did that to me as well
one of the most untrusted people on earth..i am left with a dead modem for 1 week despite their promises they always let people down, this will end up losing another long term customer , i made biggest mistake of my life moving from BT to Vodafone thinking they will bring better but my bad....!
i have drop outs every single hour and wifi does not work at all...Image the internet is dropping at Vodafone head office and people are left in limbo..!!

Hi @Connors07 I'm sorry to hear about your experience here! In certain circumstances, our Tech Teams can add Unlimited data to an existing Vodafone Mobile contract to ensure we're keeping customers connected during Broadband downtime, but we wouldn't be able to provide a fresh sim and contract to facilitate this.
If you're still having broadband issues, I'd definitely recommend reaching out to our Social Media team here, and a member of the team will be able to assist you further.
