How to connect my ASUS RT-AC86U Wi-Fi AC2900 to gigafast am i missing something ????

Hello 

I need some Help i wish to upgrade my VF router to an ASUS RT-AC86U Wi-Fi AC2900 i have my user name and password which i have entered i connect to the little black box were my firber comes in to the house and nope it will not connect to the internet am i missing some setting i need to change or add?

if anyone has any ideas i would be greatful

That's strange @paulwyeth 🤔 I'm sure one of our Broadband Live Chat team will be able to go through some live diagnostics with you and find out where the problem is and get you reconnected.

The reason that you cannot get the internet via your RT-AC86U is that you need to connect from to the Fibre modem using VLAN settings!

Now you can't actually do that directly from the WAN>Internet-Connection page on the router.  You have set the VLAN settings from LAN>IPTV selecting Manual Settings from the ISP Profile Drop box.  Once you've done that I believe all you need to do is set the Internet VLAN setting to 911 and it should work.
