Hi.
Please could someone advise.
I am on Vodafone superfast 1 fibre broadband and have a THG3000 modem/router.
Am I able to use ipv6?
Thanks

Vodafone don't provide an Ipv6 service.
There are ways around this like using a 6in4 service from Hurricane Electric, but you'd need to use a third party router still.
I know a lot of devices want us to use Ipv6, such as Apple and xbox, but with things as they are right now it really isn't necessary.
However the future may be just around the corner - even this forum can be accessed over IPv4 and IPv6.

Not so far as we can tell, though the router will use the Teredo service to connect to IPv6-only sites if needed (your connection remains IPv4 though).
Historically we've had a few IPv6 leaks onto the Vodafone network but I haven't caught any in a very long time now.
If you really must have IPv6, then you can get it using IPv6 tunnelling using a third-party router and services such as https://www.tunnelbroker.net . Just be aware that some services (Netflix) really don't like you using tunnelbroker, and while you can work around most of them, I've never got Instagram to work reliably with tunnelbroker
Other problems! DDNS can be fun when you use tunnelbroker! I use a Google Domain to provide a domain for IP-address, but if you use a tunnelbroker which you turn on and off, you may have to turn the AAAA record on and off manually!
*I'm quite a fan of tunnelbroker.net but it's not for the faint hearted!

I have my HE through tunnelbroker. I've set it up to use the London servers and Netflix is fine for me.

More complicated setup here. My Google TV used UK Netflix, but the TV is set up to use US Netflix (with no VPN). When the tunnel is up, I can break either one or the other, and I cannot for the life of me get Instagram up and working reliably on all devices!
